Mike Ashley is now second largest share holder at Rangers. If he wants to go higher then he has to sell Newcastle United.

Thoughts?

Think the plan seems to be wait it out until Rangers are secure in the SPL then sell NUFC. He's on record as saying he's staying until 2016 so that kinda makes sense to me if he's waiting for Rangers to secure their position in the top flight.

In the meantime milk the Free advertising and pocket all the loose cash coming in over and about the running costs.

Maybe the club will have paid back the 130m loan to mike ashley by 2016?
