Another transfer window and another month of the doom mongers to crawl out from under the rocks, you know if you spent half the time supporting your club rather than moaning and talking poop we've had a good season so far considering you lot were hurting ppls ears with talk of relegation, cabaye was always going to go deal with it and wwell see who we sign, sit moaning we never buy I think we've signed some pretty decent players since ashley took over but I forger you wise suppirtive fans won't ve happy unless were wasting 30-40m just to sign someone jokes of fans

Andy everybody is entitled to an opinion weather you agree with it or not. Yes we in a good position much like 2 season ago. Nobody is asking for 30/40 million pound to be spent just that the club shows some ambition that matches most fans. Cabaye did want to leave no doubt but who can blame him when the owner's only concern is to milk the club and sit comfortable in mid-table. Do you not want challenging for a top 4 spot or maybe win a cup? Or are you happy the way Cashley runs the club. In my opinion I would say you are in the minority.

Haven't seen a fan wishing the club to waste 30-40m on someone, why would they?
So fans want our club to sign players to improve the team who doesn't want that?

Andy, 8th is at least where this club should be for it's size? Good season? It's been average really, yes we've best Man U, Chelsea spurs but losing the derby and an FA CUp match to Cardiff is not good enough. We're not asking for Titles or 50m being spent every summer, we simply want an owner who cares about the fans, and has ambition.

Andi has some valid points but maybe expressed in wrong manner. we have to be realistic and realise its never going to be the case under mike that we spend 25 to 30 million every window. spent over 20 last january but that was left over from sales etc. yes cabaye gone but he is replaceable and if can be replaced cheaply then why not. mike isn't a football man and that's where he lacks. he's a business man and his credentials can't be questioned in that area. unless your alan sugar or richard branson. if we bring in grenier or cabella for example then we've replaced cabaye and got a striker on top so not a bad window. 1 out 2 in. always a plus.

I agree with you to a point Durham mag. to a degree but if our owner showed some ambition we wouldn't have to keep replacing players and hoping that the replacement can fill the boots of the likes of Cabaye. We need to be building a team around our better players not selling them. We will get nowhere like that other than where we currently stand. Saying all that where we are is where Cashley wants us.
