There is still a chance to get 2/3 players in Importantly what everyone is saying a quality CB.
Ashley although credit getting the 4 players we did get has been caught with his trousers down.

If he thinks a bargain quality player will come up in this window he is delusional.

We should have acted at the same time and brought in these much needed players so we could sell Obertan Anita Gouffran Cisse and Williamson in the bargain basement sales.

Celtic have a good CB which if bought when he should have been would have been a bargain as is the players being mentioned (some good ones) will not come cheap, well not as cheap as Ashley wants them.

Here's hoping.

Strong, Lacey and good in the air centre back, strong central defensive midfielder,think we need cover at full back(both sides). and charlie Austin will do. give us a strong spine. then sell, goufran, Anita,obertan, cabella?,tiote, cisse, Williamson, staylor, marveoux,we need to offload and buy a couple of younguns in the bracket of Tobey. I know. dreaming again

Just thinking out loud here lads, but who in their right mind would buy any of the players you've mentioned. Face it lads, these blokes are going nowhere, if I was gauranteed 30k a week for the next 3 years, I'd be sitting tight. the only way to get rid of the players is to pay out contracts and that won't happen.

with FFP rules, we must be close to being at max capacity on wages.

Your probs right but we need to offload urgently. freshen the place up with the new signings and try our best to get rid of the players I mentioned. but yes. who will buy them?
