Williamson, Gouffran and Bigirimana all told they can leave,

Interest building up in Raphael Guerreiro (left back) but face competition from Monaco and Psg.

Strong interest in Brighton centre half, Lewis Dunk, where Williamson could be included as part of a swap deal.

If we were serious about a winger surely we would have gone for shuquiri.

I'd be really surprised if any more signings happen.

what happened to the war chest of 40m, I reckon Mike Ashley must work in aussie dollars too Vida!

Ashley would be in there right now and dealing in $ if the Austerity rumors had not started.

Well thauvin seems to be our preferred choice for winger but really doesn't seem to have the same credentials as shaqiri.

You're right Desree. Both Thauvin and Shaqiri bring nothing that we don't have in Cabella. Both of them are used too used to being able to being stand out players, beating players and scoring goals with a greater frequency and ease in their respective leagues than they'd be able to in the PL. They'd be decent to pretty good but not as good as they've looked in other leagues. I'd rather stick with Cabella who at least has some PL experience than either Thauvin or Shaqiri.

I think Des's comparison was Thauvin vs Cabella and I have to agree. In Thauvin I think we would be taking a chance on a player who could go either way in his career. Obviously we all hope that every player NUFC signs will be a success but we know that's far from the truth as far as signings under the Ashley regime are concerned.
