Damien Comolli is apparently in talks with Mike Ashley over becoming our new director of football.

During his time as a scout at Arsenal, he scouted players like Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure.

He then became a DOF at Tottenham Hotspur and signed players such as Gareth Bale, Alan Hutton, kevin-prince boating, giovanni dos santos, adel taarabt, Younes Kaboul, Luka Modric, Berbetov and Assou-Ekotto.

At Liverpool he was responsible for the signings of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam, Doni, Jose Enrique, Sebastian Coates and Craig Bellamy.

As long as he gets backed financiall and shows ambition i'd have mickey mous3 as DOF. saying that not sure Mr Mgoo would be happy

As long as the relationship between him and the manager is --- I want this player, go get him. and he goes and does what's best for the team, rather than what may be worth a few quid in a few years.
