Telegraph saying that prospective buyers have approached Mike Ashley to discuss potential takeover, and that could have been one of the reasons on why pardew left. Please be true!!

Ed, is it true that Qatari Sports Investments (PSG owners) are looking for a premier league club?

The mirror says Frank de Boer is our no1 choice for head coach. Hopefully the Mirrors source isn't Alan Shearer Jtoon as the telegraph ran an article saying shearer thinks ashley might be selling the club and he gave pardew the heads up so he could join Palace?! How does this stuff get printed.

I am sure Mike Ashley said that he wouldn't sell the club until the summer of 2016. Having said that, the developments in Rangers seem to be gathering interest from other parties. I have been here before and said Ashley would buy Rangers and one of the Ed's said this was rubbish. I still think it will happen, wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle was sold this summer. The appointment of the next manager would be a indicator if this will happen or not. I. e. if its a manager like De Boar then I guess Ashley is staying, if its JFK then i'm guessing he is on his way out. only time will tell. The fact is this season is over, out the cups, not really going to be religated so see what happens come July.

I just watched pardews first press conference as Palace boss. I miss him already, Carver is that bad!

Agree, Ashley going nowhere. Even if Rangers et back into CL in 2 years the revenue from that is dwarfed by the TV revenue from being in the PL.
However with the offers for Rangers from USA if he could sell NUFC for a quick £250m, buy Rangers for £30m keep them for 5 years and build them up again he could probably get at least double his money then?

You're right, Jimmy. Another season ruined by Jan. Last season it was only the points gap built up by Dec that kept us out of the drop zone. We won't be safe withCarver in charge.
