so Carvers got the job till the end of the season. hopefully they have some one decent lined up for the job in the summer. hope they've got someone to take us up a few levels. keeping Carver till end of the season CHEAP SKATES TIGHT AR. SES OWT TO SAVE MONEY. i wish he would leave sell up move to rangers can't come quick enough for me hate him for what he's doing to wor club. Delle Alli any truth in the rumour ? ED you heard owt on this m8 !

geordietom

{Ed001's Note - Newcastle have had scouts at MK Dons games on a regular basis throughout the season. I would assume it was for him as I don't know of any other players they have had throughout the season that it could be. Though I do know Ashley sees a marketable value in Devante Cole, so I am sure that he will also be looked at now he has joined them on loan.}

1.) 26 Jan 2015 17:01:04
I have seen a few articles about Ravel Morrison aswell, not sure of some people are just taking a punt (journalists). But it would sort of make sense, he looked class for west ham start of last season then went off the rails a bit. Cashley might see him as a small investment they could pay off massively if he concentrates on football. Ferguson said that he way his best youngster for potential even when Pogba was about so he has to be pretty damn good

2.) 26 Jan 2015 19:51:00
take a punt on him we coped with Ranger and a couple of other nutters, he might just change

17 Jan 2015 22:12:50
what team let's a manager go without having a replacement waiting in the wings to take over is there some sort of hidden agenda ? any one got ideas thoughts on this. because I've racked my brains only thing i can come up with is Ashley taking us all for mugs taking as much out of the club as he can. is he putting his money into rangers while our team is struggling. ED you any thoughts on all this. or are you just as much in the dark as everone who comes on here. last thing Carver ain't the man for the job

geordietom

I'd heard Carver was the front runner - but maybe results have resulted in Ashley having second thoughts.

1.) 18 Jan 2015 10:17:30
International break now, perfect time to get new head coach in

2.) 18 Jan 2015 11:26:59
JT in an ideal world yeah. it is perfect time to get a new head coach in. at this moment JT i'd have michael laudrup and i ain't having a slant at you m8. Carver's no good for us we need someone with new ideas new methods ect. and a new forward centre half ect ect

3.) 19 Jan 2015 16:06:07
Agreed just want to see some freshness and good football

the chronicle is saying peter beardsley could step up as caretaker manager. another thing. it can only happen to wor team halfway thru the season bad timing as far as iam concerned

geordietom

1.) Your opinion has more credibility than the Chronicles Geordie Tom. We are going nowhere under Pardew. Could Beardsley be the man to get the most out of cabella, perez and make us a more attacking unit.

2.) I think he will be the man to turn to as an interim manager atleast till the end of the season. I think he would play a better brand of football and would be the best man at filtering through our younger players. Whether he would succeed or not I'm not sure but I am sure the we will not get De Boer or any manager who is employed by any club. Ashley will see it as an expense not needed. I hope its not Pulis as it will be naff football, he would look to free agents as such: Di Matteo, Lennon, Remi Garde, Patrick Kluivert, Rijkaard.

3.) 29 Dec 2014 21:11:14
Let's not get too pessimistic about P45's successor - the football can hardly get worse. Instead, let's celebrate our victory tonight (as soon as the news is confirmed, of course). It looks as though we wore the cocky c*** down - Ashley take note we can do the same again if you appoint another a***licker.

4.) Desree only saying what i read. so my next thing is what i read steve bruce is interested if and when pardew goes so who's your choice then des ( chris houghton ). i'd let beardsley have a crack at the job for now. we can all spought names but who's going to take the job ? your man in oz you keep spouting on about ?

5.) Geordie Tom - I think Beardsley deserves a shot. he knows the club, let's face it if he is half as good a coach as he is a player then we are in for a treat. He has played at the highest level and cabella, perez and de Jong could all benefit.

I think we could all do with seeing some attacking football.

6.) 100% agree with that last post des

7.) Getting rid of pardew at any stage is never a bad thing

8.) Rather have Beardsley as caretaker than Carver in fact Pardew should take carver and stone with him, for a good while now our football has been hard to watch, (we always seem 2nd best even when we win) so things ant get any worse can they

{Ed007's Note - His signing will be announced today or tomorrow.}

1.) Yep, confirmed on BBC now, about time.

2.) Yes he signed

well after watching all our games this season I've got to say we look donald ducked . very poor in fact .no passion off the players at wor club.as I've said I few times in the past I live in derby now and my m8s ( big derby fans ) are laughing their rocks off about S/M their glad he's gone.two questions for everyone 1 do you think the manager has lost the dressing room ( allready )? 2 where has JTOON gone?

geordietom

{Ed001's Note - it is a process though. Apparently that is the new buzz word as LVG has copyrighted philosophy as an excuse.}

1.) 26 Sep 2015 19:32:49
well after todays performance . ill eat my hat much better .but wheres JTOON?

30 Jul 2015 18:15:57
question for ED . MBEMBA has signed got his work permit. but he needs an over seas visa can you explain this for me please

geordietom

{Ed001's Note - not sure what you need explaining? It is standard practice to require a visa. Most Brits do not understand because the UK Govt has deals with almost every nation in the world so that the passport stamp is a tourist visa. To get a residency visa, to stay more than a couple of months, requires a different kind of deal though. Usually the company will apply for it and in the case of a footballer, who has a work permit, it is just processing paperwork, unless there are any issues which would see a visa being refused. Such as having a criminal record, which would normally lead to a visa being denied.}

1.) 30 Jul 2015 20:15:38
Well said Ed

{Ed001's Note - I hope that explained it ok, I am not sure what he didn't know. Most people who have never worked abroad will have never had to deal with visas. We are very lucky those of us with a British passport, as that acts as a visa in most countries. My brother in law to be couldn't get a visa to go to Italy as his passport showed no evidence of him traveling for holidays. The problem is that he keeps getting rejected a visa to go anywhere on holiday to get any passport stamps to show he goes to places on holiday! It made me realise just how lucky I am not to have those kind of issues going abroad.}

2.) 30 Jul 2015 20:37:23
cheers ED for getting back . just read about the visa thru me is all . any way cheers again

{Ed001's Note - glad to help mate.}

carver and stone gone . JT m8 you got your wish . now to get some real football coaches in

geordietom

1.) 09 Jun 2015 16:46:18
I'm sure my wish was shared with many others ;)

A new era is beginning. Starting to feel a lot more optimistic. A chance for mcclaren to reshape the coaching and philosophies from top to bottom.

2.) 10 Jun 2015 22:23:48
JToon you said the same lst year mate. I think it is time to draw a line in the sand and move on. If the club are serious about their intentions then I think it is time for us to stop moaning now and get on board.

It is a fact that McLaren is the best coach we have had since SBR. And we do have a better scouting team then we've had since KK's days.

Now let's see ryan shawcross, charlie austin and leroy fer signed and I'll start to believe they might be serious.

08 Jun 2015 15:56:34
been watching posts on here for a few days going on about McClaren . so what you going to do if McClaren does a good job at wor team come on and praise him to high heaven? I know it could go the the other way and he's really pap but howay lads and lasses we've got to give him a chance . I know he's not the manager / head coach every one wants at the club . but you never know things might change in the way the team plays .we can't have another season like we've just had . ( can we?) so all we can do is wait ( got no choice ) till we see what players we get in. and what style of football we get next season

geordietom

1.) 08 Jun 2015 16:50:46
I totally agree with you geordietom, there's nowt we can do if he gets appointed so may as well back him. I hope he gets backed with quality signings and gets to brings his own assistant coaches in Paul Simpson, Steve Round and Eric Steele instead of working with the crap we've got. A lot of derby fans saying that they were flying high playing like barca until we got linked with him, and that obviously effected the dressing room. He's one of the most experienced coaches we've hired, a lot of people speak highly of him so I'm prepared to give him a chance.

2.) 08 Jun 2015 18:48:33
JT I agree with you about the crap coaches we've got they are useless .you never know we might just get the coaches from derby. I live in derby now. I was chatting to a m8 of mine big derby fan he recons derby are stupid for letting McCLAREN GO. but we can only wait and see m8

3.) 08 Jun 2015 20:02:42
yep its time to forget the misery of last season and get behind McLaren (i hope he gets rid of Carver and Stone) just want to see 11 players giving their all,scoring from a corner and a season with few injuries and sending offs. let's see a smile on the Tyne

4.) 09 Jun 2015 08:00:53
Mcclaren flying into Newcastle today, apparently sorting out backroom staff is his number 1 priority, Geordie psychologist Steve Black could potentially be added as well.

also Pardew wants to take woodman to palace with him, he can go for all I care

5.) 09 Jun 2015 11:46:44
we need to move away from this 'he's a geordie/he's alright' I couldn't care if the psychologist is from Timbuktu as long as he gets results.

I think McLaren deserves a season, we can't behave like we did with Allardyce (although he deserved it).

Anyway good hear everyone is prepared to give him a chance

04 May 2015 09:43:43
Now McClaren's saying he wants to stay at derby . I wonder why . could it be that we are crap .

hybay. i do respect what your saying. but surely. if its going to hit the media soon ( without the press having any proof of what has gone on ) to print what you've said about pardew and ashley they are leaving them selvs open to court cases ect. all we want is for the people at the top at our club to be honest with us fans /supporters. but they don't give a toss about us.
