In a way. I can see why the club and others clubs are struggling with transfers. I think we can all agree the fees are ridiculous atm. I want us to get players in but at the same time I don't want us to be ripped off or bring in players that are no better than what we already have. Huddersfield for example have bought in 9 players, would we take any of them? No. None of them are better than what we have, they're sighing cheap foreign players. Same with Brighton, I think majority would be hugely underwhelmed if we signed some 30 year old Austrian left back from bundesliga and some German CM no ones ever heard of.

Everton asking 25m for McCarthy, no way do I want us to spend that amount on a player of his quality, same with Swansea with sigurdsson, good PL mid, but no way is he worth 14m more than James Rodriguez, stoke wanting 30m for the Austrian balotelli with armautovic, the world has gone mental.

Rafa knows this but is clearly frustrated and wants deals done asap, a striker, winger, number 10, holding mid, left back need to be sorted within next 1-2 weeks otherwise he will walk. Charnley needs to stop dossing about.

Completely agree with you jtoon. We've got to be very astute and get the right player for the right price. We've been there and done that spending ridiculous money and getting second rate performance's.

I agree with Vida. Mike Ashley is in control. He is sticking and hoping we get 17th. How come no one is offering crazy money for any of our players?

They are Des but nothing above 1m is really crazy money
Behind the sceans Rafa is saddled with mediocrity and players Ashley sanctioned

Rafa wants Quality and we may see that in Striker and DMF but we need get a move on.
